# Tutorials

> Watch short walkthroughs from the help menu or from play buttons on specific screens.

Tutorials are short walkthroughs of the screens you use most. They sit next to the written
[Help Center](/introduction): Help Center is the reference, Tutorials is the video.

<Info>
  **Key things to know**

  * Open the full list from the **?** help button (desktop sidebar) or **Help & tutorials** in the account menu on a phone.
  * Some screens also show a play button on that tool's header. Clicking it plays that walkthrough and leaves the Tutorials list open.
  * You can hide the play buttons in [Your Profile](/settings/profile) and still open Tutorials from the help menu.
  * Once your organization has at least one Deal Hub ZIP, **Build your buy box** opens once the first time Tutorials is on for your account. It waits until required ZIP setup and the market setup animation finish. After it loads, it does not open automatically again on that account. Hiding play buttons does not skip that first opening.
  * **Analyze a deal** opens once the first time you open a property card. After the walkthrough loads, future property cards open normally without showing it again.
</Info>

## Open the Tutorials list

<Steps>
  <Step title="Use the help button">
    On a computer, click the **?** button at the bottom of the sidebar. The list slides in from
    the right. **Help Center** sits at the bottom of the list and opens the written guides in a
    new tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Or use the account menu on a phone">
    Tap your avatar, then **Help & tutorials**. The list slides up from the bottom of the screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Search or browse">
    Type in **Search walkthroughs** or pick a category. Click a walkthrough to play it.
    Closing the player leaves the list open until you close Tutorials.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Play buttons on a screen

When a tool has its own walkthrough, a play button sits on that tool's header, not on every
property in a list:

* **Deal Hub** filter bar, just right of the **Buybox** button
* **Property details** header
* **Comps** header, next to Map/Table and Close
* **Deal Calculator** title
* **Rehab Cost** modal header
* **Deal Pipeline** page header
* **Sequences** page header
* **Templates** settings

Published walkthroughs include **Build your buy box**, **Analyze a deal**,
**Comps**, **Deal Calculator**, **Rehab Cost**, **Deal Pipeline introduction**,
**Sequences**, and **Communication & Templates**. Topics marked **Soon** (Bulk
operations, Portfolio, Contact management, Deal Pipeline customization, and
Financing) are listed before their recording is published. Those upcoming
topics do not have play buttons on the matching screens yet.

Clicking the button opens that walkthrough and the Tutorials list together. Close the player
with **X** or Esc. The list stays. Esc again closes the list.

The first time you open the **Deal Pipeline**, **Deal Pipeline introduction** opens
automatically if you have not watched it before. The first time you open a property card,
**Analyze a deal** does the same. These views are tracked on your user account, so the
walkthroughs do not repeat when you switch properties or use another device.

## Hide the play buttons

If you already know the product, open [Your Profile](/settings/profile) → **Guide** and
turn off **Tutorial icons**. The help menu still opens the full Tutorials list.
