Quo (formerly OpenPhone) is a bring-your-own-phone integration. When connected, your organization sends SMS through your Quo number and syncs call activity - recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries - back into ProPilot. Connecting Quo also applies a 10% ProPilot subscription discount while it stays connected.

Connect Quo

Open Phone Number settings

Go to Basic Setup > Phone Number (admins only). Choose Connect with Quo.

Add your Quo API key

Generate an API key at my.quo.com/settings/api (you need Quo workspace owner or admin access), paste it, and click Validate key.

Pick a phone number

Choose a number from your Quo workspace, then click Connect & register webhooks. ProPilot auto-registers webhooks for messages and call events.
When connected, the panel shows Connected via Quo, your number, and capability chips (SMS, Call Sync, Transcripts, AI Summaries).

What changes for communication

  • Text SMS - compose and send from ProPilot as usual; it goes out through your Quo number.
  • Attachments & voice notes - these open an Open in Quo dialog (Open Quo conversation / Open Quo web), since attachments are sent from the Quo app or web inbox.
  • Calls - instead of the browser dialer you’ll see Call via Quo → Open Quo. Completed calls sync back automatically as call cards with recording, transcript, and AI summary.
  • Email is unchanged - it still uses ProPilot’s email system.
  • Messages and calls you make from the Quo app to saved contacts are mirrored back into the conversation thread.

The 10% discount

While Quo stays connected, your ProPilot subscription gets 10% off, applied automatically. It’s removed automatically if you disconnect.
The 10% discount applies to your ProPilot subscription only. Your Quo account (subscription, numbers, messaging, calling, AI features) is billed separately by Quo.

Disconnect or switch numbers

Click Disconnect (admins) to revert to an in-platform number for SMS - the discount is then removed. To switch Quo numbers, disconnect and reconnect, then pick a different number. To rotate a leaked API key, disconnect and reconnect with the new key.

Common questions

Not directly - use Open in Quo for attachments and Call via Quo → Open Quo for calls. Activity syncs back to ProPilot.
Yes, for contacts that already have a conversation in ProPilot. Messages to unknown numbers aren’t imported.
No - only organization admins can connect or disconnect Quo.

Limitations

  • No MMS or in-browser calling from ProPilot when on Quo (handled in Quo).
  • The Quo discount doesn’t stack with referral or promo codes.
  • SMS availability depends on your Quo account status (e.g. campaign approval, credits).
