Phone Number controls how your organization sends SMS and handles calls. You can either use an in-platform ProPilot number or connect your own Quo number.

Where to find it

Open Settings > Basic Setup > Phone Number.

What you configure

  • Provision an in-platform number by area code.
  • Enable incoming browser calls.
  • Connect Quo if you want to use your own Quo number.

In-platform number vs Quo

OptionBest forHow it worksWhat changes in ProPilot
In-platform numberTeams that want the fastest built-in setupProPilot provisions a number for your organization after you choose an area code.SMS and browser calls happen directly inside ProPilot. Incoming-call setup can ring in the browser.
Quo-connected numberTeams that already use Quo and want to keep their existing workspace numberYou connect Quo from this settings page, then choose a number from your Quo workspace.Text SMS still starts from ProPilot, while attachments and calls open in Quo. Call activity can sync back into ProPilot.
Choose the in-platform number if you want the simplest ProPilot-native setup. Choose Quo if your team already works from a Quo number and wants ProPilot activity connected to that workspace. For Quo setup details, see Quo Integration.

What changes when you update it

  • The selected phone setup becomes the organization-wide sending number.
  • SMS, calls, bulk messaging, and sequence tasks use the active setup.
  • Quo-connected organizations use Quo for attachments and calls.
  • Disconnecting Quo returns the organization to the in-platform number flow.

Setup tips

  • Use a familiar area code when provisioning an in-platform number.
  • Connect Quo only if you have access to the Quo workspace and API key.
  • Decide this early, because the organization phone number is shared by the whole team.
  • If your team uses Quo, read Quo Integration before changing the connection.
