Key things to know
- Open Settings from the sidebar. Basic Setup is expanded by default; opening Advanced Settings collapses it (only one group is open at a time).
- All Basic Setup settings are organization-wide and admin-only to edit. Members see them as view only.
- Changes apply going forward: new messages, new analyses, new placeholder values. Sent messages and saved analyses keep their existing values.
- Two settings have one-way consequences: the sender email address locks after your first sent email, and the phone number is shared by the whole team, so decide both early.
How to think about Basic Setup
Basic Setup answers four questions every organization needs before working deals at scale:- Who are we contacting agents as? Buyer Identity sets the name and company that sign messages and fill merge fields.
- Which channels are ready to send? Phone Number covers SMS and calls; Email Setup covers the sender domain and address.
- What assumptions does analysis start from? Financial Presets and Financing (Loans) feed the Deal Calculator on every new analysis. Offer timelines and earnest money live under Advanced Settings > Deal Terms. The offer formula is pinned from the My Offer panel; ROI targets, mode, and price basis are pinned from the Deal Calculator.
Recommended setup order
1
Buyer Identity
Set your name and company first. The company name seeds your suggested sender email address,
so it should exist before you configure email.
2
Phone Number and Email Setup
Provision an in-platform number or connect Quo, then choose your sender domain and address.
The sender address locks after the first email, so get it right before sending.
3
Financial Presets and Financing
Set the expense, cost, and loan defaults every new Deal Calculator analysis starts from.
The offer formula is pinned from the My Offer panel when contacting an agent; ROI targets,
mode, and price basis are pinned from inside the Deal Calculator.

Do changes affect old deals and sent messages?
Do changes affect old deals and sent messages?
No. Defaults apply going forward. Sent messages keep what was quoted, and saved Deal
Calculator analyses keep their per-deal values, including explicit edits.
Should every teammate configure this separately?
Should every teammate configure this separately?
No. Basic Setup is organization-wide and shared. Personal preferences, call forwarding, and
WhatsApp notifications live in Your Profile.
Which settings are hard to change later?
Which settings are hard to change later?
The sender email address locks permanently after your first sent email and requires support
to change. The phone number is shared by the whole team, so switching providers mid-campaign
is disruptive. Everything else can be adjusted freely; it just only affects new work.
