Buyer Identity controls how your organization presents itself when contacting listing agents. It is not just a profile field. It feeds the language, merge fields, and sender identity your team uses when starting conversations.

Where to find it

Open Settings > Basic Setup > Buyer Identity.

What you configure

  • Your Name - the buyer name used in messages, signatures, and buyer merge fields.
  • Company Name - the company name used in templates, default sender identity, and reports.
Click Save Profile after making changes.

Why it matters

Listing agents see this identity in outreach and deal materials. Keep it consistent with the name your team wants agents to recognize. If the wrong name or company is saved here, message templates can sound inconsistent even when the template text itself is correct.

What changes when you update it

  • New outbound messages and templates can use the updated buyer name or company.
  • Merge fields such as buyer name and company name use the saved values.
  • Existing sent messages are not rewritten.
  • Personal profile details, such as your display name or call forwarding number, are not changed.

Setup tips

  • Use the name agents should reply to, not an internal nickname.
  • Use the legal or public company name you want included in offer language.
  • If several teammates send outreach, choose an organization identity that works for the whole team.
