Operating hours control when outbound SMS and automated outreach are actually sent. Messages composed outside these hours are automatically held and scheduled for the next open window.

Where to find it

Go to Advanced Settings > Communication > Operating Hours. You’ll see the weekly schedule (Monday-Sunday) and your organization’s timezone.

How it works

  • Outreach sent during operating hours goes out immediately.
  • Outreach started outside hours is delayed to the next open window. When sending SMS outside hours, you’ll see a Schedule send prompt where you can confirm the time.
  • Bulk SMS is automatically scheduled and staggered about 5 minutes apart.
  • Active conversations can still send right away.

Common questions

The schedule is shown as read-only and is managed at the platform level. To change your organization’s timezone, go to Advanced Settings > Organization > Timezone.
