Create an account with email and a phone code, or with Google. After you verify your phone, you are in the product right away - there is no confirmation email to click. For email signup, use a permanent address you can access. Invalid and disposable addresses are not accepted - the form asks you to correct the address before sending the phone code and may suggest a likely spelling correction. Eligible new accounts start on a card-free Starter trial after you verify your phone - you land in the workspace without choosing a plan. A countdown banner shows how much trial time is left, with Upgrade now and Book a demo. Details are in Billing & Plans. The Get Started guide appears as a slider in the bottom-right corner of the screen and walks you through every required setup step, checking each one off as you complete it. The Buy tab has five required setup steps. Most plans also show a sixth step, Book Onboarding Call, plus an optional guided tour. You can do them in any order, but each one unlocks a different part of the product - skipping a step leaves that part limping. You can minimize the guide at any time (the arrow button or the Esc key) to a small Setup badge in the corner - click the badge to reopen it. The Later (hide for an hour) and dismiss (X) controls appear once the organization-wide basics - ZIPs, Buyer Identity, Phone Number, and Email Setup - are complete. If a teammate already finished those for your organization, you can dismiss the guide right away.

The setup steps

1

Select Your ZIPs

Go to Deal Hub and click ZIPs in the toolbar (or Add Your First ZIP). Add ZIP codes by state/city or one at a time, then click Save ZIP changes. What it unlocks: this powers all of Deal Hub - listings only appear for ZIPs you track. If skipped: Deal Hub stays empty and there is nothing to find or save.
2

Set Buyer Identity

In Basic Setup > Buyer Identity, fill in Your Name and Company Name and click Save Profile. What it unlocks: the buyer name and sender identity used in all outbound outreach. If skipped: your messages go out without a proper identity, which hurts reply rates.
3

Set Phone Number

In Basic Setup > Phone Number, choose Get an instant number from us and enter a preferred area code, or connect your own. What it unlocks: SMS and calling. If skipped: you can’t text or call listing agents.
4

Set Email Setup

In Basic Setup > Email Setup, configure your sender email, branded domain, and email signature. What it unlocks: email outreach, including email steps in sequences. If skipped: email sends are unavailable and you’re limited to SMS and calls.
5

Your Profile

On your Profile page, finish your personal setup: set your display name, connect WhatsApp (enter your WhatsApp number and click Activate - you’ll receive a test message to confirm), and verify your cell number for call forwarding. What it unlocks: notifications and calls reach you personally. If skipped: you may miss replies and inbound calls.
6

Book Onboarding Call

If your plan includes a live onboarding session, the Get Started slider shows Book Onboarding Call, and you may also see a Schedule banner at the top of the app. Click Book Onboarding Call to open an in-app scheduler and pick a time. Opening the booking window completes this step - you can close it without scheduling if you already know the product. If you do not see this step or the Schedule banner, your plan does not include a live onboarding session and you can skip this step. What it unlocks: a live walkthrough with the Propilot team. If skipped: you can still use the product, but you miss guided setup help.
Click Take a Tour in the Get Started slider for a guided walkthrough of Deal Hub, Deal Pipeline, and Messages, plus key settings like message templates, Financial Presets, and Financing & Loans.
For the complete setup map, see Basic Setup Overview and Advanced Settings Overview.

After setup: your first deal in 10 minutes

1

Open Deal Hub

Your saved ZIPs are already loading listings. Sort or filter to put the biggest discounts on top - each card shows a discount pill such as 15% under comparing list price to the comps-based value.
2

Open a hot deal

Click a card with a strong discount and reasonable days on market. The full property workspace opens with photos, pricing, and analysis.
3

Review the comps

Check the Comps value against the list price and skim the comparable sales behind it. If the discount holds up, you have a candidate.
4

Save it

Click the heart (Save property). The listing moves to your Deal Pipeline in the Not Contacted stage, and a “Saved to pipeline” toast offers a View in Deal Pipeline link.
5

Message the agent

From the property workspace, message the listing agent by SMS or email - pick a template or write your own. Messaging from a listing auto-saves it to your pipeline if you haven’t already.
From here the loop continues in your Deal Pipeline: the deal moves to Contacted, replies land in Messages, and follow-up reminders keep it from going cold.

Common first-run mistakes

  • Forgetting to click Save Profile after updating your buyer identity.
  • Staging ZIPs but never clicking Save ZIP changes - ZIPs still showing the New badge in the unsaved list aren’t tracked yet.
  • Entering a ZIP code that isn’t exactly 5 digits.
  • Skipping the WhatsApp Activate click - you must receive the test message.
  • Trying to add Kentucky/Louisville ZIPs here (those are handled by the Off-Market Scanner).
  • Wondering why a saved listing vanished from Deal Hub - saved listings move to your Deal Pipeline and are hidden from Deal Hub browse by design.
