Advanced Settings is the second group in the Settings left rail, below Basic Setup. It holds the organization-wide controls your team relies on every day: who is on the team, what plan and limits apply, how outbound communication behaves, how comps are selected, and which shared contacts are available.
Key things to know
  • Open Settings from the sidebar, then expand Advanced Settings in the left rail. Basic Setup and Advanced Settings are collapsible groups; opening one collapses the other.
  • Most Advanced Settings can only be changed by admins and the owner. Members can view many of them but see a “View only” notice instead of edit controls.
  • Changes here apply to the whole organization immediately - templates, comps rules, tags, and limits affect every teammate.
  • Pipeline stages, follow-up windows, and the automatic cleanup timers live in Pipeline Settings (the gear icon on the Deal Pipeline toolbar), not in this sidebar.

How Advanced Settings is organized

Each subcategory in the rail opens its own page with anchored sections, so you can jump straight to the setting you need:

When to use Basic Setup vs Advanced Settings

  • Basic Setup is for first-time readiness: Buyer Identity, Phone Number, Email Setup, Financial Presets, and Financing (Loans). Complete it once so your organization can send credible outreach and analyze deals.
  • Advanced Settings is for ongoing administration: inviting teammates, watching usage, changing plans, deal terms, tuning templates and comps, and maintaining shared data. You will come back here regularly as the team grows.

Communication

Settings that live elsewhere

A few organization-wide controls are intentionally outside this group:
  • Pipeline Settings (stages, colors, checklists, Default Follow-Up, and the automatic cleanup windows including Lost Auto-Delete) open from the gear icon in the Deal Pipeline toolbar. See Deal Pipeline stages.
  • Billing checkout opens when you click Manage Plan in Organization settings; see Billing & Plans.
  • Your personal settings (display name, WhatsApp number, send shortcut) live in Your Profile, opened from the user menu, not from the Settings rail.
  • Quo connection is part of Basic Setup > Phone Number; see the Quo Integration guide.

Common questions

Most Advanced Settings require the admin or owner role. Members see the current values with a “View only” notice and need an admin to make changes. A few sections, such as Operating Hours and Limits, are platform-managed and read-only for everyone.
Use Basic Setup for first-time identity, phone, email, terms, and analysis defaults. Use Advanced Settings for ongoing administration: team, billing, communication rules, comps tuning, contacts, usage, and organization-level controls.
Pipeline Settings open from the gear icon in the Deal Pipeline toolbar, not from the main Settings sidebar. Use them for stages, colors, checklists, the Default Follow-Up window, and the automatic cleanup timers (Auto-Move to Revisit and Revisit Auto-Move to Lost; the Lost Auto-Delete period is fixed at 30 days).
Both live under Advanced Settings > Communication. Templates are fully editable; Operating Hours is a read-only view of the platform sending window in your organization’s timezone.
Open Settings > Advanced Settings > Organization > Usage. It shows SMS, email, voice, lookups, AI tokens, and more for the current billing period, with progress bars against your plan limits.
