Advanced Settings is the second group in the Settings left rail. Use it for deeper organization-wide configuration after Basic Setup is complete.
Key things to know
  • Open Settings from the sidebar, then expand Advanced Settings in the left rail.
  • Advanced Settings are mostly admin-only.
  • These settings affect team access, communication behavior, comps, contacts, billing, usage, and organization branding.
  • Feature pages link back here when a workflow depends on an admin setting.

How to think about Advanced Settings

Advanced Settings is where admins maintain the operating rules for the organization. These settings are less about first-time setup and more about ongoing team management, communication operations, comps quality, and shared contact data. Use Advanced Settings when you need to:
  • Add or manage teammates.
  • Review billing, plan limits, and usage.
  • Change deal tags, timezone, logo, or referral settings.
  • Manage templates, email signature, forwarding, proof of funds, and operating hours.
  • Tune comps rules or add manual comps.
  • Maintain reusable organization contacts.
Pipeline stages and default follow-up windows are configured from the gear icon in the Deal Pipeline toolbar, not from the main Settings sidebar.

Common questions

Most Advanced Settings are restricted to admins and owners. Members can use the related features, but may not be able to change organization-wide behavior.
Use Basic Setup for first-time identity, phone, email, terms, and analysis defaults. Use Advanced Settings for ongoing administration: team, billing, communication rules, comps tuning, contacts, usage, and organization-level controls.
Pipeline Settings are opened from the gear icon in the Deal Pipeline toolbar, not from the main Settings sidebar. Use them for pipeline stages, colors, checklists, and the default follow-up window.
