Key things to know
- Open Settings from the sidebar, then expand Advanced Settings in the left rail. Basic Setup and Advanced Settings are collapsible groups; opening one collapses the other.
- Most Advanced Settings can only be changed by admins and the owner. Members can view many of them but see a “View only” notice instead of edit controls.
- Changes here apply to the whole organization immediately - templates, comps rules, tags, and limits affect every teammate.
- Pipeline stages, follow-up windows, and the automatic cleanup timers live in Pipeline Settings (the gear icon on the Deal Pipeline toolbar), not in this sidebar.
How Advanced Settings is organized
Each subcategory in the rail opens its own page with anchored sections, so you can jump straight to the setting you need:When to use Basic Setup vs Advanced Settings
- Basic Setup is for first-time readiness: Buyer Identity, Phone Number, Email Setup, Financial Presets, and Financing (Loans). Complete it once so your organization can send credible outreach and analyze deals.
- Advanced Settings is for ongoing administration: inviting teammates, watching usage, changing plans, deal terms, tuning templates and comps, and maintaining shared data. You will come back here regularly as the team grows.
