On the SMS tab, you can attach one image or audio file per message. Attachments are sent as MMS through your organization’s phone number.

Attachment options

  • Record voice note - click the microphone button to record up to 60 seconds, then preview it before sending. Click the stop button to finish early.
  • Attach MMS file - click the paperclip button to upload an image or audio file from your computer.
  • Paste an image - paste a screenshot or copied image directly into the compose box.
Before sending you can preview the attachment or remove it and pick a different one.

Supported file types

Limits

  • One attachment per SMS.
  • 5 MB hard limit per file - larger files are rejected before sending.
  • Under 1 MB is recommended; carriers are far more reliable with small files and may compress or drop large ones.
  • Voice notes can be up to 60 seconds.
For Quo-connected organizations, attachments and voice notes are handled in Quo - ProPilot opens a Quo link instead of sending the MMS itself. See Quo Integration.

Common questions

Check the file size and type. Files over 5 MB are rejected, and only the image and audio formats listed above are accepted. If the file sent but never arrived, carrier filtering is the usual cause - keep files under 1 MB for the best delivery odds.
No. SMS supports one attachment per message. To send several images, send several texts.
No. Attachments are limited to images and audio. For documents, use the email channel instead - email attachments do not have these MMS restrictions.
Carriers often recompress MMS media. Sending a smaller file (under 1 MB) usually preserves more quality than sending a large one that the carrier shrinks aggressively.
Yes. Remove the recorded note with the remove button and record again. Nothing is sent until you send the message.
